Rentals for a settled neighborhood
Piedmont's building work is mostly infill and renovation: a new house on a split lot, a foursquare getting a full remodel, a backyard cottage behind a church. A standard unit and a handwashing station keep those crews on site, run on a route that already covers the North Portland peninsula.
The area's churches and community groups gather often, and Peninsula Park draws reunions and celebrations, so we bring deluxe flushing cabins, an ADA-accessible unit, or the restroom trailer for the days a hall or park needs more restrooms than it has.
Placing a unit between the street trees
Lots here are decent but the parking strips carry big mature trees and roots, so we choose a firm spot in the driveway or a side yard clear of the canopy where the truck still has a clean line from the street. We keep the service path short so a root-lifted sidewalk stays out of it.
On a corner lot with alley access we set the unit off the alley so the street trees and the front garden stay untouched, and the crew still has it a few steps from the back of the house. We confirm the exact spot with the lead before the truck rolls out to the site.
Route access and rainy-season care
The peninsula grid is calm and easy to work, so a Piedmont drop rarely waits and a quick add mid-project is usually simple. We time delivery to miss the school and park rush near Peninsula where we can.
Rain sits on the flat ground much of the year, so we set units on planks where a lawn would rut and schedule pumping so a longer build stays ahead. Dry summer weekends fill the reunion and church-event calendar. Delivery, servicing, and pickup all ride on one order for the neighborhood.
