Rentals that fit a Homestead project
Most work up here is a hillside remodel, a deck or foundation repair on a sloped lot, or a contractor working the edge of the OHSU campus. A standard unit plus a handwashing station keeps a small crew going where there is no site plumbing.
For a gathering at a home on the hill, a deluxe flushing unit is the practical choice, and the restroom trailer works where there is enough flat ground and a reachable approach for the truck.
Where a unit goes on a steep hillside lot
Level ground is the scarce thing here. We look for the flattest reachable spot, usually the driveway apron or a parking pad, and we level the unit on the grade so it stays stable through the job.
Where the only flat ground is well below the road, we set the unit closer to the street and keep the servicing hose run short rather than fighting the slope with a long pull.
Access and timing above Terwilliger
The switchbacks off Terwilliger are narrow with tight turns, so our driver scouts the approach and picks a route that can actually make the corners. Hospital traffic peaks in the morning, so we aim for mid-day drops where we can.
In the wet months the hill roads stay slick and shaded, and we keep the unit on a firm pad so it does not settle. One order covers the drop, the servicing schedule, and the pickup when the job wraps.
